Bump from Bump Technologies
Networking is an essential element to gathering a solid base of customers, collaborators and industry contacts but you don’t always have your business card to hand and even if you do it can be quite easy to lose those newly acquired ones in the lining of your jacket or the bottom of your briefcase.
Bump takes all of the pain and effort out of this by tying together your online profiles into one application that can exchange your details with new acquaintances simply by bumping phones together.
Information exchange
After entering in your phone, email, postal address and other optional details – even including your Facebook profile – you can choose how much or how little to share and find someone else with the Bump app installed.
Once you both have Bump opened literally bump your iPhones together and the information is exchanged.
Another useful feature is the compare function: you can see how many mutual acquaintances you have and the history submenu lists all the people you’ve recently bumped phones with.
Should you want to exchange a specific image or contact from your address book you can also do this.
