Dublin City University’s Ryan Academy is running an innovation and entrepreneurship boot camp event called Jumpstart next Friday and Saturday, 3 and 4 September.

Delivered by the Ryan Academy for the Entrepreneur Skillnet, the bootcamp gives participants the opportunity to learn what it takes to develop an idea into a successful venture.

This is an intensive crash course which is designed to prepare participants to hit the ground running with the skills and resources needed to start a new venture or contribute innovative ideas to more established companies. The two days can be taken separately or together.

It’s geared towards the following people:

  • Recent graduates who aspire to running their own company
  • Managers in Irish small and medium-sized enterprises
  • Those looking to get a job in a knowledge economy company such as Google or Facebook
  • Researchers keen to commercialise their ideas
  • Social enterprises or entrepreneurs looking for earned-income ideas
