Classifieds site Gumtree.ie, which set up in Ireland in 2007, is helping charity Debra Ireland to open a temporary store in St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre from 24 to 27 June.

Called ‘The Pop Up Shop’ its stock includes signed merchandise from Lady Gaga and Jedward, designer items including Chloe handbags, Marc Jacobs clothing and celebrity goods donated by Miriam O’Callaghan (pictured), Sinead Desmond, Marian Keyes, George Hook, Marco Pierre and Tom Dunne.

Gumtree.ie is listing all the items on its site from tomorrow (22 June). All of the proceeds from the store will go directly to Debra Ireland to fund its family support worker/nurse in Our Lady’s Hospital Crumlin and various research projects including those into skin cancer.

St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre is offering a unit free of charge to Debra Ireland.

A fully-owned subsidiary of eBay Inc, Gumtree.com was created in London in March 2000 and now covers 60 cities across six international markets including Europe, North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia with a total of 101 websites across these markets

Gumtree is Ireland’s fastest-growing website for local community classifieds including flat share, flat rentals and jobs.
