Mazda Ireland is running a competition to find a design for a new paint decal for Team Ireland’s MX-5 Race Car, which could offer a start-up design business or budding entrepreneur the opportunity to raise their profile.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Mazda MX-5, and the competition is part of the celebrations.
The overall winner will have their design carried on Team Ireland’s car at next year’s European MX-5 Open Race. Thirty cars, representing EU nations, took part in this event last February, completing a four-hour endurance race.
Otherwise, the prizes in the design competition include experiencing the MX-5 Race Car at Mondello Park Motor Racing School, an Apple™ MacBook and vouchers for Apple™ products.
To encourage creativity across all ages, judging and prize categories are split into three age segments: under 12’s, 12-16 year olds and 16 +.
