Enterprising Donegal Business Week off to a flying start

Celebrity chef Richard Corrigan launched the Donegal Food Initiative, a programme aimed at encouraging food producers to develop their business, at the launch of Enterprising Donegal Business week on 5 March.
Colm Long, director of operations and online sales, Facebook, was also a guest speaker at the launch of the week, which runs until 12 March.
There are plenty of free events to interest start-ups for the rest of this week, from Starting your Own Business workshops in the evenings, case studies, an information fair for the unemployed and talks on exporting and thinking differently for the future in terms of branding.
The highlight of the week will be the Enterprising Donegal Business Awards, a black-tie dinner in the Solis Lough Eske Castle Hotel on 12 March.
There are 13 companies shortlisted for this year's awards: TM Designs, Durgan Media, Eilish Kennedy Designs, Gartan Technologies, Lee Gooch Promotions, Media Box, JB Interactive Mobile Marketing, Chic-Hens, Aroma, Triona Design, Roadteam Ltd and The Villa Rose Hotel and The Earagail Arts Festival.
