Griffith College Limerick has just launched a new Certificate in Business Start-up Skills programme to equip people with the vital skills to assist them in making the leap from employment to self-employment.
Running two evenings per week over eight weeks, this practical course strives to give participants an understanding of the challenges needed to run their own enterprise. It helps people evaluate their business idea before committing their time and money to starting a business.
The course is divided up into units that include product or service research, promoting the business, funding, business plans, finance and bookkeeping, business management, business computing and company and employment law.
