Enterprise Launch is a new business start-up course at Synergy Centre at Institute of Technology, Tallaght to help people take their business idea to the next level.
To qualify for a place on the course, your business idea must have some association with intellectual property (IP) or technology.
Running for six-weeks, the next course will commence in Spring 2010 (date to be confirmed). It will be held on Friday evenings from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 1pm in association with the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK) through Enterprise Ireland.
Segments of the course will include: ‘The new venture team - the entrepreneur as manager’; ‘Finding the opportunity and building a sustainable competitive advantage’, ‘The business planning process’; ‘Sales and marketing’; ‘Starting a business from Ireland: legal issues including intellectual property rights’; ‘Financial planning and supports’; and ‘Presenting your plan and negotiating the deal’.
Programme participants may also go on to complete a business plan for submission for an award to the Institute of Leadership and Management.
The cost of this six-week programme is €300. Application forms are available on the Synergy Centre website.
