Start Your Own Business Workshop – Dublin Business Innovation Centre

If you're wondering about how to go about establishing your base, Dublin Business Innovation Centre runs regular one-day workshops on starting a business which should help you figure it out, as well as guiding you about all the other aspects of getting started that you need to know. The next course takes place on Wednesday, 17 February 2010 from 9am to 4pm.
The content of the course includes:
- Overview of the advice available to assist entrepreneurs
- Entrepreneurial self-assessment
- Writing a business plan
- Presentations
- Marketing and sales
- Financial projections, spreadsheets/records
- Funding requirements; setting up the company
- Directors’ responsibilities
- Government departments and regulations
- Technology management review
- Overall review and Q&A session.
The workshops, which are held every few months, generally start at 9am and run through to 5.30pm.
