Sage has launched Sage Pay, a secure online credit and debit card payment processing service for Irish businesses that will allow them to accept payments through their website, over the phone or by mail order.
Using the Sage Pay system, customers’ credit card details are entered on a secure payment page and no cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted.
“In today’s business climate where businesses are increasingly concerned about economic uncertainty, companies are scrutinising their processes and their costs to try to increase cash flow. Others are looking to the online market as a new sales route to market,” explains David O’Reilly, general manager, Sage Pay Ireland. “We have entered the card processing market because we believe it’s a good fit with our ethos of supporting Irish companies to manage their cash flow and grow their businesses.”
Because each business is unique, Sage Pay can be customised depending on users’ needs and circumstances. Sage Pay provides expertise on issues such as payment processing, fraud, compliance, regulations and merchant services. Whether a user is looking to completely outsource their payments via Sage’s hosted solution or undergo payment card industry compliance for a business, Sage Pay can help all to gain a competitive advantage.
