Getting grant money from whatever source is a great idea and the local boards are a great place to start. The local Social Welfare office might also be of assistance, depending on your project. Be careful about the rules for grants – sometimes they’re repayable if certain terms and conditions are not met. Your ability to qualify for grant aid all depends on your business proposal. Your business start-up advisor will give you details of all the options available to you.
