I have a business idea but don't have the time or resources to work on it. How can I sell it to a company I know does?
Advice from our onboard experts in all areas of business
I am working on a business plan to submit for funding with my business partner. I am finding it difficult to communicate how I would be integral to the business. The company is technical, but my expertise is in social science and the arts. Any advice?
You may have some unique perspectives that you bring to the business.
Firstly, if you were part of the original idea then you are well aware of the business's development and are in a good position to understand the direction it should take and, more importantly, to spot when it is going off course.
You could build up a role that you play around the area of strategist and/or external perspective and/or quality control/compliance.
I guess another way of looking at it would be to ask yourself and your partner: "what do you bring to the table?".
