Meet The Experts

David Brophy

David joined the patent profession in 1993, and joined FRKelly in 1998. He advises his clients on all aspects of patent and design protection. He specialises in telecommunications and software-related inventions, medical devices and mechanical inventions.

He has written and spoken widely on topics in patent and design law, and has extensive experience arguing cases before the European Patent Office. He is currently writing a thesis for a master's degree in copyright law with Kings College London.

FR Kelly is a leading intellectual property law firm, with offices in Dublin and Belfast.
