Advice from our onboard experts in all areas of business
Since his early working days with Touche Ross as a trainee accountant and subsequent career with KPMG as director of insolvency and re-organisation John Reid experienced many highs and lows of doing business in Ireland.
He has also experienced the business world through international eyes and spent many years overseas working in various management and leadership roles in diverse locations such as the UK, mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa.
His current role brings him directly into contact with those business leaders at the coalface in confronting the vagaries of a global recession. He works together with them on achieving ‘the impossible dream’ and going beyond the restrictions of industry orthodoxies and limiting beliefs. Reid has spent four years with Dell EMEA as an external coach on its leadership development programme.
A business graduate of University College Cork, a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland, and a credentialed coach of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Reid is also co-president of the Irish chapter of the ICF and sits on its European leaders’ board. He is also a board member of Coaching Alliance (formerly Irish Coach Development Network).
